Episode Description

Adam Amaral started his career when he was given his first skateboard. Realizing that his friends were better skaters than himself, Adam turned his efforts towards videotaping his friends. Video editing became the passion that drove Adam’s career. On a whim, Adam chose to attend SCAD – The Savannah College of Art and Design – as an art major. The atmosphere of being surrounded by other students driven by their passions cemented Adam’s resolve to find and master his own style. After graduating, Adam lived with friends or wherever he could find housing (like, for instance, a bike shed) until his creativity was noticed by a studio in LA. Adam describes participating in an internship in LA as one of the main highlights of his life since the creative atmosphere of LA made his passion burn hotter than ever. From Adam’s creative passions came the brand that would earn prestige across the world of video editing: Master of Shapes. Adam’s drive to finish one stellar project after another gave MOS an excellent reputation that opened doors to working on a Miley Cyrus tour, designing the first behind-the-wheel driving VR experience, and creating the first in-the-cockpit flying AR experience. All of these incredible accomplishments all arose from one person: Adam Amaral and his powerful creative passions.
