Brand Challenge.

Skyy John wanted to create a podcast that would diversify his brand away from alcohol. The Tipsy Bartender team engaged Finding Founders to create their first video and audio podcast. The goal was to capture a new audience with a freeform interview style that highlighted the personality of Skyy John that his 33M+ followers have come to know and love.

Creative Solution.

We created ‘The Skyy John Show,’ a talkshow, interview style video podcast that interviewed a wide variety of guests to diversify Skyy’s demographic.

 

We created brand imagery (including animation and sound design) that would differentiate the podcast from The Tipsy Bartender brand, but would keep Skyy’s gregarious personality as its focal point.

 

We established a studio setup that would be most conducive for the video podcast.

We conducted cold outreach that resulted in a 36% response rate securing top quality interview subjects such as Andrew Yang, Manuel Pastor, and Vera Mulyani. We handled scheduling and guest management to effortlessly coordinate with Skyy’s Schedule.

In addition to the full video podcast that was posted on Youtube, we created platform-specific content for Facebook, Twitter, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The creation of this content included experimenting with different styles of hooks and thumbnails.
