Episode Description
In this episode, we sit down with John Basset, who has been participating in Live Action Role Play, or LARP, games ever since he was in high school. From having an interest in nerdy games from being a young kid in Massachusetts to running Twin Mask in Los Angeles, learn how John grew and developed into the Game Master he is now. As a military brat, he was no stranger to not fitting into tight social circles. In high school, John was finally old enough to officially play in LARP games. After making real friends, his confidence began to grow. Moving to the west coast meant an arsenal of games to be involved in and people to meet. However, there was something that was missing from the other local games. Through a year of planning and finding a small but dedicated team, learn how John’s weekend disaster led to a 400 player game.
