Episode Description

What do an aspiring actor and a dissatisfied computer science major have in common? For Jeremy Le and Danny Shepherd, the answer was superheroes. Before they met each other and became lifelong friends at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, both geeked out about everything from the Batman Animated series, to Justice League comics, to X men cartoons. Their interests finally collided in a summer passion product, a fan-made YouTube battle between DC characters Nightwing and Red Hood. Though neither expected it, the video exploded in popularity and the pair decided to pool their resources into one brand: Ismahawk. Since then, they have created the incredibly popular YouTube special “Nightwing: The Series” and have amassed more than 600,000 subscribers.
